Jeff and Naomi have entered the next stage of their life, the motel has sold and the nest is empty!  It's time for something new.  Believing in the adage, life is too short, they are doing something new and at the same time helping Motel operators around New Zealand achieve their goals!

Born in 1966, Jeff is a Christchurch native and Crusader fan.  After graduating University of Canterbury Jeff felt the need to see more of the world and headed to Japan.  There Jeff worked in local government specializing in international relations which brought him into contact with people from all four corners of the world.  Eventually the greener pastures of home beckoned after some 18 years away.

Naomi (b 1968) is from the Kansai area of Japan and first experienced the relaxed NZ lifestyle and developed her kiwi accent while attending high school in Christchurch for a year in 1985.  After graduating university back in Japan, a job at Westpac, a kiwi husband and 2 boys who loved travelling to NZ for their summer breaks meant that even while living in Japan Naomi was very much immersed in the Kiwi culture.  15 years experience in banking, finance, compliance and IT means Naomi handles back office operations while Jeff takes care of the motel office.

Back in New Zealand, Naomi and Jeff operated a motel in Christchurch in an innovative way to an award winning standard for 9 years until early 2017.

Both Jeff and Naomi are fluent in Japanese and their combined local experience and international exposure allows them to welcome all guests with a unique combination of local knowledge and intercultural understanding.
